Hello Tiffany,

Your system appears to be healthy outside of needing a replaced optical drive. Alone, these repairs would come out to be $130. You should note that the system is quite old and may not have longevity without the below maintenance. Maintenance would bring repairs to around $300 (optional, your system should last some time on its own). These systems can keep up with modern games well, however, its another idea to purchase a brand new system instead. Let me know what you are thinking…

Optional Maintenance:

If the harddrive has never been replaced, it is likely overdue for this as well. A replacement harddrive would be recommended and would be an additional $90 with a 2-year manufacturer warranty.

Additionally, the system could be as old as 10 years (the Original Xbox One launched in 2013). Internal capacitors can begin to fail around this age, and I recommend replacing these. This would be an additional $100.
